The HD Forum association aims to encourage the setting up of complete HD production and distribution chains across the full range of media: TNT, satellite, cable and ADSL; to promote HD with the authorities and the general public, notably by defining a label for HD products; to bring up any technical questions on the choice of standards; and to inform people about the status and development of HD in the world. Following the successful launch of HD over DTT, HD Forum has set itself new goals: the enhancement of digital TV.
